[people. power. media]'s mission is to empower marginalized communities by creating media that amplifies their voices to inform the public and influence public policy.

What We Do

We broadcast community voices to impact public policy.
Our content focuses on housing, immigration, health and poverty. We publish written stories along with photos and/ or short video clips about community actions on these issues. For prioritized issues, we produce thorough investigations as video-based news features.

We take a beat-reporting approach to develop contacts and leads, regularly talking with community-based organizations about the issues and public policy changes they are working on.

We have developed a relationship with The Real News Network, so recently we have been producing video based news features for them, and we carry that content on our web channel as well.
