What we need
- Analysis of accounting needs and assessment of current accounting practices
- Recommendations for process improvements and report generation
- Recommendations for appropriate bookkeeping software and related costs (if necessary)
- Implementation of chosen bookkeeping software (if necessary)
- Training on data input and essential reports to generate
Additional details
We need a professional who is well versed in QB Online. We recently converted over and need to have our invoicing system which is set up currently on a separate QB desktop edition incorporated into our QB online company. We could also use some additional training on QB Online.
What we have in place
- The executive director is responsible for performing all financial duties with the exception of invoicing riders and entering their payments. We have QB Online up and working for payroll and paying bills. The transition has not been easy. Historically, our financial information was kept on two separate QB desktop companies on two separate computers. It's time to get things straightened out so that our finances can be managed more efficiently and effectively.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,779 , allowing us to acquire necessary equipment for our therapeutic riding program such as saddles, helmets and other tack.
Getting our financial "house" in order is of primary importance to us so that we can improve the segregation of duties and the flexibility of work locations. Additionally, it will greatly help in the training of personnel who may succeed others in certain positions.

Our mission
The Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy program partners with horses, utilizing their movement and important bond between horse and rider, to promote improved physical and emotional well-being and independence for individuals with disabilities. At Pegasus we provide therapeutic exercise in various forms always emphasizing ability and maintaining an environment of respect and trust for our riders, volunteers and horses.
What we do
Pegasus TRA provides therapeutic riding lessons, equine assisted activities and therapies to the Philadelphia and surrounding communities. We provide volunteer opportunities for students and adults within our programs 6 days a week, year round.
