Business Plan Review
Project details
What we need
- A document with detailed feedback and edits that ensures an Organization's business plan clearly defines its mission and approach, finance and operating structure, and tracks to key performance indicators
What we have in place
- We currently have a strategic plan from 3 years ago, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a governance committee on our Board of Directors, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to offer more arts summer camp opportunities for underserved youth from our community.
Allen's Lane Art Center has been around for nearly 70 years and once served as a staple community arts center. This project will support the overall health of the organization, ensuring that our programs grow and continue to be a resource to the community.
Project plan
Our mission
Allens Lane Art Center (ALAC) was founded nearly 70 years ago in response to growing racial tensions in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia. An interracial group of neighbors who believed in the arts as an agent for unity and change established ALAC in 1953,
Today, the organization provides programs and activities that bring our diverse community together to experience and support the arts. Our vision is for ALAC is to be the model of community engagement in the arts in Northwest Philadelphia, providing quality and innovative art and cultural programming for the Greater Philadelphia Region.
What we do
Allen's Lane Art Center offers four core programs: Gallery Exhibitions, Theater Performances, Classes in Visual and Performing Arts, and Summer Art Camp for youth.
In following our mission to make the Arts as accessible as possible to our community, many events are either low-cost or free when possible.
