What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format

We need to be able to show our donors and sponsors why summer camp - especially Camp Jamison is so important for Philadelphia

What we have in place
  • We currently have pictures, statistics, and logos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have social media set up, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to send an additional 8 kids to camp!

we are looking for an infographic that would help us raise money for organizations to want to sponsor children to go to Camp Jamison.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the infographic, key audiences, and style preferences (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of infographics they like with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with data or other source of information to draw from

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the final version of the Infographic including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

Our mission

Camp Jamison's mission is to provide an inclusive, affordable, and diverse traditional overnight summer camp experience for all Philadelphia children. Camp Jamison offers a range of activities as well as social and emotional benefits. Camp Jamison's founder, Jacqueline (Christy) McDonough, created Camp Jamison because she knew firsthand of the transformative power of summer camp, and wanted to offer the joy of the camp experience to children from her hometown of Philadelphia. We are celebrating our 10th year in operation this summer so we are very excited about that!

What we do

Camp Jamison runs a traditional overnight summer camp program for all children.

I started this project in May and soon realized I was way over my head with other pressing projects. Mark was so great and said he understood and let me come back to him when I was ready - almost 6 months later! Mark took my idea and the numbers I gave him and went to work and create a beautiful infographic!
