What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We are celebrating our 40th anniversary as an organization next year, and as such recently interviewed our founders about how it all began. We have a ton of raw footage, but very much need help editing it down into useful clips. The interviews were filmed professionally but are very much a conversation as opposed to Q&A.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a filmed interview with our founders, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an available staff person, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to further stretch our incredibly small budget

This project will be amazing to help us celebrate, honor, and acknowledge our founders in a larger effort to celebrate the past, present, and future of Citizen Advocacy. We've had an amazing 40 years and are looking forward to 40 more!

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
