What we need

  • Training on how to create and customize graphics using (free) design tools/apps

My organization, CRRJ, is reorganizing our strategic initiatives and would like help creating a graphic that describes the 3 new areas of focus. The image will be used to engender support from funders and inform our supporters about our work generally.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the three initiatives, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an idea for a graphic, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to create innovative reproductive justice programming open to the Bay Area community.

this project will streamline our fundraising efforts as it will be a visual "pitch" of our work that is easily understood and accessed. We may even use the graphic on merch for fundraising purposes.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where graphics will be posted, ideas for copy, and images to include in the graphics (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the graphic, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of graphics or memes they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to three rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered and Training
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphic and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager how to create and customize graphics
