Organization Goal Setting
Organization Goal Setting
Project details
What we need
- 3-5 clearly articulated organization-wide goals
- Meeting facilitation of leadership team to discuss and agree upon goals
- Note: This project does not include specific tactics to achieve goals
Additional details
We have conducted a SWOT analysis with our board this summer. We would like to use that information, in addition to our mission, vision and values to create a strategic plan for sustainability to be implemented over the next 5 years.
What we have in place
- We currently have mission and vision, program data and financial data, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Board, Program Director and Finance Officer, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,930 , allowing us to provide transportation, meals, outreach, and support groups to our clients.
The community we serve experiences high rates of homicide and assault due to gun violence. We provide free trauma-informed therapy to a city that has been chronically underserved. Many organizations start with great intentions and summarily fail. We want to be a lasting and effective healing resource for the residents of Chester, making it a healthier place to live. We want to build the capacity of residents to take on the healing work themselves. A strategic plan is necessary at this stage.
Project plan
Our mission
To heal the psychological and emotional impact of homicides and reduce trauma-related reactive violence in the City of Chester, PA
What we do
We provide trauma-informed therapy to City of Chester families where a loved one has been assaulted or murdered. Participating families receive case-management support, as well as door-to-door transportation to appointments, childcare, and supper on therapy nights.
We also work collaboratively with other violence prevention organizations to enhance the collective impact of our work to transform the City of Chester.
We believe wholeheartedly in the possibility of recovery from trauma, we believe in the creativity and resilience of our community, and we also believe in our capacity to create change.
Testimonials
Michelle has been an incredible gift to our organization! She came in and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a useful product at the end of our time together. What we have, thanks to her, is a strategic plan that will shape the work we are doing over the next five years. Michelle is gracious, she's perceptive and adept at gathering the disparate thoughts of a group to shape a collective vision. We highly recommend her work and are so grateful for her contributions. Thank you, Michelle!
Really enjoyed working with CCC. They have a strong mission and good people who are working hard to see it to fruition. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey.
