Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

We already had a website audit done and would like to make some major changes to our pages, our color palette and other elements of our website. We are looking for someone with some coding experience to assist our team in making these changes. This volunteer would be working with another volunteer and some staff members as part of a team for updating our website.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the results of our website audit and a user survey, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a list of elements we'd like to update, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to focus on our environmental monitoring and educational programs, producing outreach materials for the community and researching issues to better help impacted residents.

This project will help us better present the information available on our website so users can easily find what they're looking for and learn more about our organization. Having volunteer help with enable us to focus on our other projects and make sure this project gets done in a timely manner.

What we do

We participate in local hearings for new gas development and advocate for protections to our community, we educate our community so they know how to protect themselves and their families, and we mentor other communities so they can accomplish protections for their neighborhoods.

Testimonials

Mike was very helpful in determining what was slowing our website down. He explained things clearly and helped us understand what we can do differently going forward to speed our website up.
