- Note: This project does not encompass the writing of materials or creation of visual assets
Additional details
Madre Latina Gala Achievers is one of the largest fundraising of the year. The Gala is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2020. We expect 300 participants. During the Gala we honor 6 recipients and also we give 6 scholarships to high school students.
What we have in place
- We currently have date of the gala, venue and we are working on the invitation, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a lot of pictures, testimonies of other galas, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,852 , allowing us to keep running our Scholarship funds
The kit will help us to increase awareness. Will hep us to attract the local media and provide them with a story to tell in an easy way. Will help us to attract sponsors and other organizations. Others can share our information in a professional way. Will helps to promote the event in our webpage and other social media outlets

Our mission
Mission: is to promote and encourage the advancement of Hispanic mothers by providing training, technical assistance, and mentoring in order to pursue continuing education.
What we do
Is a 501(c)3, that was founded in 2011 by a group of Latinas who wanted to connect the Latino community with programs and services in Connecticut. It was incorporated in 2012 and is dedicated to improving the health, educational attainment, human welfare and opportunities for Latino families in Connecticut.
Madre Latina overall goals are to provide educational, health and lifelong learning opportunities for the Latino mothers and their families in a safe environment along with cultural awareness activities.
Madre Latina is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors representing parents, advocates, teachers, social workers, professionals, business and community leaders.
