Website Visual Design
Website Visual Design
Project details
What we need
- A visual redo of the Organization's website
- Design direction based on Organization's desired branding and style preferences
- Mock-ups of key site pages
- Commitment to 2 phone calls with a developer to guide initial front-end coding work
- Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers templates, you may not need this project. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help building a CMS-based website
What we have in place
- We currently have completed an in house audit of our current website and have started working on a new site on Square Space. We also have a logo we like and have content, images and video ready to use.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,186 , allowing us to involve more artisans and communities in the GreenWood enterprise.
As we as an organization continue to grow and find support in a broader audience, we realize we need to use current appropriate technology to develop our online and social media presence. Our current website is outdated and cumbersome to update. With a new website we hope to be grow our network of supporters and keep our community up to date on all the good work GreenWood is doing.
Project plan
Our mission
GreenWood is designing sustainable development for the real world. We work alongside residents of remote forest communities to help them earn more by managing their forests and creating valuable wood products than they would otherwise derive from conventional slash-and-burn agriculture or illegal logging. We employ small-scale, appropriate woodworking technologies and creative niche marketing to support good forest management and sustainable development.
What we do
Teaches men and women of all ages to become skilled artisans and producers of high-value woodwork.
Helps those artisans sell their products in local, regional and export markets.
Works with forestry professionals and communities to empower local residents to act as forest stewards and to provide a sustainable supply of raw materials for artisan production and other traditional uses.
