We have a homemade one-pager (I will send), would like help making content less academic and more accessible
What we have in place
- We currently have homemade one-pager, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have website and current client-oriented brochures, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to work toward hiring a social worker to provide intensive support to families where a loved one has been recently assaulted or murdered.
We want to distribute the one-pager with invitations to a benefit concert to be given by Chester Children's Chorus for our organization (Chester Community Coalition) on Saturday, November 11th. We hope to increase our support base.

Our mission
To heal the psychological and emotional impact of homicides and reduce trauma-related reactive violence in the City of Chester, PA
What we do
We provide trauma-informed therapy to City of Chester families where a loved one has been assaulted or murdered. Participating families receive case-management support, as well as door-to-door transportation to appointments, childcare, and supper on therapy nights.
We also work collaboratively with other violence prevention organizations to enhance the collective impact of our work to transform the City of Chester.
We believe wholeheartedly in the possibility of recovery from trauma, we believe in the creativity and resilience of our community, and we also believe in our capacity to create change.
