What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
We have almost-complete WordPress pages that need to be completed and published. I have a word document (3 pp) listing the changes we need. We use G-Suite email & calendar, so if a non-Google Domain Name server is used, Mx, SPF, and TXT records need to be created to keep G-Suite email functional.
What we have in place
- We currently have mostly-done WordPress pages, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a list of needed changes, budget for web host & WordPress, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,802 , allowing us to provide door-to-door transportation, childcare, suppers, case-management and intensive support to families in the weeks immediately after a violent trauma.
We need to present resources for healing to families where loved ones have been assaulted or murdered, to those working within Delaware Counties to serve those families, and to potential supporters who want to learn about our work.

Our mission
To heal the psychological and emotional impact of homicides and reduce trauma-related reactive violence in the City of Chester, PA
What we do
We provide trauma-informed therapy to City of Chester families where a loved one has been assaulted or murdered. Participating families receive case-management support, as well as door-to-door transportation to appointments, childcare, and supper on therapy nights.
We also work collaboratively with other violence prevention organizations to enhance the collective impact of our work to transform the City of Chester.
We believe wholeheartedly in the possibility of recovery from trauma, we believe in the creativity and resilience of our community, and we also believe in our capacity to create change.
