Succession Planning Sessions
Help United Methodist Neighborhood Centers, Inc. mitigate risk and ensure seamless leadership transitions.
Succession Planning Sessions
Project details
What we need
- 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a change management professional covering topics like identifying key positions and successors, transition timelines, and action planning for developing existing staff for leadership roles
- Coaching on how to engage senior leaders and key funders, and strategies for gaining the commitment of board members and staff to manage a planned or an unexpected transition intentionally
What we have in place
- We currently have Org Chart and Key Positions, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the Executive Director Leading this project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,673 , allowing us to direct scare resources back into direct programing.
One lesson we have learned during COVID 19 is the need to adapt quickly toa everchanging landscape. In an effort to protect the agency with solid leadership business continuity is a priority that we can not afford to ignore.
We know we need to maintain brand identity and the sudden loss of a leader will open the agency up to new leadership that has the potential to change the identity. We hope to identify and develop internal candidates for leadership positions for a sudden staff departure.
