(Short) Animation Creation

Project details

What we need
  • Up to 3 short animations to be used in further marketing content (short videos, gifs, website content, etc)
  • Guidelines on how to use the animations in accordance with other content
What we have in place
  • We currently have 4 revised Aesop fables, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have powerpoint for each fable, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to to reach and share animated fables children in day cares via social media during this pandemic.

This project is important for my organization because the fables were created two years ago by youth who completed a summer work program. They were well received by the students at a day care center.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where animations will be posted, ideas for content, and images to include in the animation (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the animation, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of animations they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts animations using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Animation Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of animation
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Animation Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the animations and explains how to include the animations on the organization’s chosen platform(s)

To use the art of storytelling to promote literacy in order to reach the various types of learners in a multicultural society.

We believe in reaching one youth at a time. For Real!

What we do

ROOTS, Inc. programs and activities draw on the belief that 1) stories are powerful, 2) stories have the potential to spark creativity and imagination 3) it is important to teach children to be storytellers and readers so that they can appreciate and grow in their culture. We use the art of storytelling in the classroom, theatre and to help our seniors with their precious memories.
