Board Responsibilities & Structure

Project details

What we need
  • Document outlining relationship of board to your organization, including its role, responsibilities, and structure
  • Document defining the roles and responsibilities of individual board members, including empty seats if applicable
Additional details

Our Board of Directors consists of 4 people who are personally attached to the organization and its mission. We are looking to build up to 11-13 members. Our skill sets include, but are not limited to, education, business, leadership, and law. Our challenge is that we are not well-versed in the responsibilities of a Board. The Board members who had this knowledge stepped down a few years ago. Our current goal for the organization is to systemize the board development process.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Bylaws, Board Committees, and framework, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have direct access to organization staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to expand our scholarship offerings to young people who strive to educate their bodies and strengthen their minds.

With a true understanding of the Board's role in the organization's operations and future planning, our Board can better support the mission as well as network with more confidence.
