Project details
What we need
- A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details
We have a highly successful professional development program that applies best practice for andragogy and leads to sustained changes to instructional practices for STEM teachers at the secondary and tertiary level. The program began as part of my research at my university, but now we have expanded through my nonprofit. We need graphics for a brochure for our program's features and its impacts. Finding donors is important to lower costs for clients that are public schools or low socioeconomic.
What we have in place
- We currently have Google Doc with an outline of the program, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a branding guide and the brochure that needs the graphics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to reduce our operating costs so that we can continue to offer the reduced rates to our schools and clients; increasing access and opportunity to quality STEM teacher training for everyone.
Having a brochure that explains everything about the program including the details, topics, structure, the application of best practice and research, potential impacts, etc will help us advertise it to potential schools and clients, but also help us pitch to donors and fundraisers. Many of our schools are public and/or low socioeconomic status so we try to reduce the costs. We do not want to turn anyone away, access and opportunity to quality STEM teacher training is very important to us.
Project plan
Our mission
The Teacher's Toolbox wants others to feel as passionate about teaching and learning (especially science and STEM) as much as we do. We want to help teachers add, diversify, and modify their toolbox pedagogical strategies and build their confidence for their love of teaching and learning.
What we do
We provide pedagogical coaching and mentoring that is personalized, based on best practices in research, grounded by years of practical experience, and driven by feedback to create sustained changes in teaching. We also write and create curriculum and other resources to improve teaching and learning experiences with high levels of inquiry, student-centered learning, and increased diversity representation. We want to help teachers add to their toolbox and build their confidence for their love of teaching and learning.
Testimonials
Marcy was amazing! I absolutely loved the graphics she designed. She does a great job understanding her clients and working diligently to get exactly the right final graphic. She incorporates so much into work including the color and vibe of the project. She receives feedback very well. I would love to work with her again.
