What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format

The concept of a Community Foundation is difficult to explain and communicate. We'd like to create an infographic that can be used in our annual report and marketing collateral to introduce our organization to community members, nonprofits and prospective funders.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a couple samples of virtuous cycles and financial money flows but we want to create a more 'story telling' type of infographic that talks about geographically-focused role of a Community Foundation.

    I can write up the story in long written form to provide guidance for the volunteer.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to focus our limited volunteer time in amplifying the message more broadly in a clear and concise way.

We are a brand new community foundation and the majority of our community does not know what a community foundation does and its relationship/differences from other local nonprofits. This simplified, story-telling infographic will dramatically help us scale our communications efforts and align our board and volunteers on sharing our org and brand.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the infographic, key audiences, and style preferences (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of infographics they like with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with data or other source of information to draw from

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the final version of the Infographic including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)
