What we need
  • High-resolution logo delivered in vector (.ai, .svg, .eps) and raster (.png, .jpg, .tiff) file formats for digital and print use.
Additional details

The Dallas Innovation Alliance and CARDBroad Project are doing a Dallas Device Challenge campaign for the holidays to challenge employers and individuals to donate gently used devices to be repurposed and distributed to low-income communities. We'll be utilizing local training programs to refurbish the programs and local community organizations to distribute where the highest need exists. We're seeking support with logo and branding for the program! Open to editable file types!

What we have in place
  • We currently have branding for our orgs and some sample program logos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated project manager to dedicate bandwidth, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,308 , allowing us to do more print distribution, social media targeting, and in person pop-ups for awareness and digital education programs!

This project will help us stylize, gain attention and cut through 'the noise' of donation requests to reach our target list of funders and donors. Provides polish in an area we lack capacity.

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current logo (if available), branding guidelines, and any existing marketing/communications materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional examples of logos, brands, and design elements preferred, and links to website and social media pages

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss the branding goals, target audience, and preferred design elements
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree upon a style concept
  • Professional creates up to 6 thumbnail sketches of rough ideas for client to review

Milestone 2: Logo Design
  • Volunteer Manager selects 3 of the design options and provides feedback
  • Professional takes sketches and creates up to 3 digital drafts for the logo design based on feedback, and shares with the Volunteer Manager for more feedback
  • Volunteer Manager selects 1 of the design options and provides feedback

Milestone 3: Final Design and Handoff
  • Based on feedback, professional creates the final logo design, and iterates upon the design for final delivery, including versions of the logo for different uses (e.g., black & white, full color, and formats for print and digital use)
  • Professional delivers the final version of the logo including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

The Dallas Innovation Alliance's mission is to support the design of 'smart cities' solutions for Dallas that improve quality of life, efficiency, and economic opportunity. Namely - DIA finds new and innovative ways to solve big challenges through an approach at the intersection of technology, data and community. The DIA supports digital access & inclusion efforts via programs including the Mobile Learning Lab, Internet for All Coalition, and community partnerships providing digital literacy, skills and access. Additional efforts are focused on next generation infrastructure, workforce development, transportation and resilience.
