Flexible Graphic Design Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
Looking for a design for an event t-shirt that incorporates Philly, LA and running/walking. The event is a fundraiser and the t-shirt is one of the fundraising incentives.
What we have in place
- We currently have samples from last year's event, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have time and motivation, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to apply those fund toward critical program expenses and scholarships for participation in low-income areas
We're making this an annual event and want to have unique t-shirts each year to be collected by participants. It encourages fundraising and we hope to raise about $10,000 through this effort.
Project plan
Our mission
Girls on the Run of Los Angeles County's (GOTRLA) mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through running activities and an interactive after-school curriculum. The program enhances the abilities of adolescent girls, ages 8 to 14, to navigate life experiences and to pursue a lifetime of healthy living, self-respect, values-based choices and leadership. Through an innovative social-emotional learning curriculum that creatively integrates running, GOTRLA is helping pre- and early teens tap their potential and positively influence their communities.
What we do
GOTRLA provides safe, after-school mentoring for 8- to 14-year-old girls to learn skills and habits that support physical, social and emotional growth. Over 14 years, this unique, nationally developed and tested curriculum has been thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of Los Angeles County; serving girls, families and volunteers from diverse communities with an emphasis on economically disadvantaged areas. For adults seeking the benefits of community involvement, the program also provides in-depth training and hands-on volunteer opportunities that engage adults to impact their neighborhoods.
Girls on the Run is the only national physical-activity based positive youth development program for girls with compelling evidence of program impact. It is our research-based curriculum, trained coaches and a commitment to serve all girls that sets us apart as an exemplar PA-PYD program.
