Project details

What we need
  • Setup of selected accounting software (e.g. Aplos, Araize)
  • Training and guidelines on how to manage system and generate basic reports
Additional details

We need a Chart of Accounts and then to be set-up in QuickBooks online.

What we have in place
  • We currently have are in the process of purchasing QB online through Tech Soup, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an excel budget and balance sheet for the year ended June 30, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,409 , allowing us to become a sustainable, independent organization. Every dollar we can save allows us to continue to provide and procure free legal services for under-resourced artists

We previously operated as a program under a larger organization and they handled budgeting and bookkeeping for us. We now need to do it ourselves as an independent 501c3. We have to be able to plan, track and analyze our finances independently and generate reports efficiently.
