Flexible Graphic Design Support

What we need
  • Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

Onward Hope is a community-based foster care, adoption, and transitional services agency in need of an interior/graphic designer to create renderings for the Community Center we are opening in the coming months. Our vision for the center is to create a safe and fun space for teens and young adults that are transitioning out of foster care to create meaningful connections in their community and develop necessary life skills through our specialized workshops and events.

What we have in place
  • We have taken measurements and pictures of every room in the center, and we are happy to provide a video tour and any other necessary information for the project. Additionally, we have created a very basic floor plan and amateur renderings through a free online software, which may serve as a resource. Additionally, a staff member will be dedicated and readily available to work on this project to clarify the vision and answer any questions as they may pop up throughout the project.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus on furnishing a fun, comfortable space and running effective workshops and skill development curriculum for opportunity youth and teens experiencing foster care.

The Community Center will fill an unmet need for a neglected population by fostering supportive, consistent relationships and providing accessible opportunities for skill development. In order to meet the needs of these youth and achieve the potential of the Center, we need renderings that bring the dream to life. These renderings will be the core of our fundraising and development campaigns to furnish the Center, creating a bright, fun, and comforting place for opportunity youth to thrive.

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
