VP, Strategic Partnerships

About the Role

Catchafire’s Strategic Partnerships team is the key revenue driver of the company and supports Catchafire’s mission by accelerating the adoption of Catchafire by grantmaking foundations, philanthropic institutions, companies and, ultimately, professionals and nonprofits.

We generate opportunities via thought leadership and key relationships. The essence of your role will be to forge new business partnerships and shepherd our high quality leads all the way to close. This includes developing sophisticated and effective proposals, managing a robust pipeline, cultivating relationships, and effectively communicating the value of Catchafire to strategic stakeholders in complex organizations.

Your success in this role will require you to operate effectively as a stellar enterprise sales person and an extraordinary problem solver, project manager, and team player.

Responsibilities
  • Lead large, complex deals from start to finish
    • Efficiently and effectively create and cultivate leads that translate into qualified opportunities
    • Shepherd qualified leads to close by selling strategically through a complex organization

Manager, Nonprofit Engagement

Essence of the Role

The Manager, Nonprofit Engagement strengthens our relationships with nonprofit members, pulls new nonprofits to Catchafire, and acts as a nonprofit subject matter expert. You are the face and voice of Catchafire for our nonprofit users, drawing people to you and to Catchafire. You will do this in several ways: (1) help to onboard our nonprofit grantees (2) support our Foundation Accounts team by facilitating and leading community events and cultivating relationships with our nonprofits (3) elevating the Engagement team by bringing your creative ideas and innovations.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a professional and enthusiastic ambassador of Catchafire
  • Run nonprofit information sessions to introduce new users to Catchafire
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with high performing nonprofit leaders in our community to leverage for case studies, speaking engagements, and feedback
  • Speak with individual nonprofit leaders to understand their challenges and recommend Catchafire solutions
  • Represent Catchafire at conferences and events
  • Write stories, case studies, and impact reports about our nonprofits’ success
  • Participate in the creation and management of topical webinars to increase nonprofit success on Catchafire
  • Up to 50% travel time (mostly US-based) required

Senior Manager, Foundation Partnerships

About the Role

As Foundation Partnerships Senior Manager, you will be entrusted to manage and grow a portfolio of impactful partnerships with leading grantmaking foundations. You will oversee and become the expert on these foundations, who are focused on community building, supporting local philanthropy, and elevating nonprofit organizations and ecosystems. Your expert client and project management skills will enable you to support and collaborate with senior Catchafire leaders to maximize long-term value and impact for our partners and the communities they serve.

YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO
  • Work with the Head of Partnerships to develop and refine client management strategy in order to maximize the value and impact of these partnerships.
    • Drive client renewal discussions, aligning on approach and coordinating conversations internally and externally to achieve partnership goals
    • Ensure that Catchafire has relationships with key strategic leaders across each foundation partner to create learning opportunities and provide further value
    • Be the internal expert on your clients by tracking industry news, trends and key initiatives that your clients lead and/or care about
  • Manage your portfolio of partners by collaborating with internal teams to generate marketing, programming, events and deliverables across the program lifecycle
  • Synthesize and share engagement and nonprofit insights and impact with your clients and Catchafire internal teams through compelling impact stories, survey results and data visualization

Program Coordinator

About the Role

As the Program Coordinator, you will partner with our Account Managers, the primary owners of our client relationships. Together you will build and sustain long-lasting program success with our Foundation clients who help bring Catchafire to thousands of organizations world-wide and deliver on our critical mission to transform the nonprofit sector.

You will work collaboratively with Catchafire teammates across accounts, marketing, business development, product and tech. The person best suited for this role is naturally organized, has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, has exceptional attention to detail and is a master project manager. You have a desire to learn about program design and implementation, client management, marketing strategy, and tech and product development.

You will have the opportunity to take part in helping Catchafire shape a new function in service of our critical mission. This role will report to our Program Delivery Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Own pre-launch and launch activities for all Foundation programs, liaising with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Customer Success and User Engagement teams.
  • Monitor progression of programs to ensure we’re meeting engagement goals and organizations are getting the most out of Catchafire.
  • Collaborate with end-user teams to develop strategies and tactics to drive additional engagement for programs not meeting performance expectations.
  • Deliver regular quantitative reporting to Account Managers to help fuel their touchpoints with clients.
  • Assist in the identification and collection of success stories that help our clients understand the underlying impact our service delivers to their organizations.
  • Manage reporting and presentation templates to ensure consistency across accounts.
  • Research and understand the nonprofit ecosystem related to new programs to ensure we’re setting partners up for success.
