SCG helps at-risk girls and their families build resilience, confidence and connection through choral excellence to break the cycle of poverty.

What We Do

SCG is a youth development program that uses choir and ensemble performance as a tool for learning, social development and connection.

Choral singing is an ideal model for building strength and resilience in communities. Singers strive together for a positive outcome; the individual serves the collective. When facing the challenges of extreme economic deprivation, crime, violence and lack of infrastructure--choral singing is prized as a low-cost, high-outcome form of social development.
