Website Technical Updates

Project Details

What We Need
  • Updates and/or fixes to Organization’s existing website (e.g., bug fixes, plugin or widget integration, etc.)
  • Training for up to 3 Organization staff members on how to resolve minor issues going forward (if applicable)
Additional Details

DreamHost technical support informed us that the Arthemia theme that is currently on SSMMA's website is not compatible with PHP 7.0 and above and as a result will break functionality in the dashboard depending on the plugin. We have since learned that the Arthemia theme is no longer supported at all. PHP is the Hypertext Preprocessor or a server-side scripting language designed for Web development. DreamHost tech support downgraded our version of PHP to 5.6.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have all the above resources, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a CMS-based website., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to time to overhaul the site

It supports/anchors much of SSMMA communications

SSMMA has 10 professional staff who provide technical assistance and support to member communities that include thriving suburbs, struggling yet stable communities home to moderate-income families, to some of the most resource-strapped and economically distressed towns within the Chicago region. Our members are committed to eliminate racial disparities, heal racial divisions and build more equitable communities
